Does this look like a young papa Dave or what? Eli insists that he needs glasses, and likes to wear mine all the time. I am going to get his eyes checked this month just in case he does need them..... I think he may just like the way that they look;)
The
BOSTON Red Sox (saying
BOSTON is VERY important apparently) are playing a terrific season so far, and E is a terrific machine pitch player! He has hit several homers this season, and is a great shortstop, even getting some outs right off the bat! YAY! He also plays 1st base a lot, and really likes that position. Along with baseball, he is enjoying the rest of soccer season with the "dinoRunners" and is VERY serious about "bending it like BECKHAM."
Something that was really exciting this week, was that Eli won an award (only two were selected in his class) for writing and illustrating a book entitled "Hunting with My Family" It is an ADORABLE story, and we are so proud of him for dreaming it up, and writing the book. He has a fantastic teacher this year, and we L-O-V-E her! The awards were given at "A Night of a Thousand Stars" (a school celebration of child authors) and Grandma Gayle was there to listen to Eli read his story to us for the first time. It was so much fun to see how proud he was of his story. Good job dude! We love ya...

Congrats Eli! There's no limit to what you can write about with your imagination. I say you publish them and make some sweet mula.
