The Interview

This kid is getting baptized.
Asher Wyatt Beagley, you stud muffin, you!!
He had an interview with the bishop last Sunday...
A few things in the interview busted my gut:

Bishop: Well, Asher, are you ready to get baptized?
Asher: Oh yeah! That's what this is about, isn't it? Yes, I am ready...
but will I really be baptized if my arm doesn't get wet?
(he is citing the broken arm that occurred three weeks ago..)

Bishop: I want to tell everyone some things about you at your baptism (has paper and pencil...)
Who is your favorite BOM hero?
Asher: hmmmm.....I want to say it is Noah, it was pretty hilarious how when he was nailing
that ark together he kept hitting his fingers with the hammer, and he was like, "ouch!
Ooowie!" (courtesy of "Evan Almighty")
Me: Ummm...Ash, the bishop means a BOM hero, like the people we talk about when we read
the BOM.
Asher: Oh, yeah, who's that other guy that built a boat?
Me: Uh, Nephi?
Asher: Yeah! he's the one! Put that down, Bishop! (with a little hand motion to the paper the
Bishop is writing on...)

Bishop: What is your favorite thing in the world to do?
Asher: Well, I really like playing Halo 2, which is rated M for "Mature", but my parents say I
can only play games that are rated E for "everyone."
So, I really wish Halo 2 was rated T!
Bishop: but, you're not a teenager!
Asher: but, I will be someday!

Bishop: Is there anything that worries you about getting baptised, Asher?
Asher: Yes! I'm seriously worried about the water...Is it warm?
Bishop: The water will be warm.
Asher: Now I am worried...getting in warm water makes me feel like I have to go #1!
Me: We'll make sure you use the bathroom before you get in the baptism font, OK?
Asher: (gives me two thumbs up, while I melt in embarrassment...)

Yes.
The kid gets more and more hilarious, everyday....
I love him!

3 Months.

He's all ours.
A GIFT.
sweet and cuddley.
sleeps with me every night.
J blessed little LL this month.
such a strong, peaceful blessing.
LL coos and talks.
smiles and laughs....
gazes up at my face while I nurse him.
It feels like it is slipping away too fast.
like I am trying to hold on to his sweetness,
and it is slipping between my fingers.
I can't STAND it.

I'm holding on tight!

I'm here. (an " i " post)

I'm here.
I have gestational diabetes.
I have lots of tests run on my bod each week, now.
I am having some complications this time.
I am coping with having my husband back in school.
(and working 70 hours a week.)
(and going to Baltimore again.)
I plan to text him when the baby is born, in case he wants to see him/her.
I still don't know what gender my baby is.
I have 10 more weeks to go.
I want to sleep. really bad.
I need to catch up on my life.
I cried hysterically for haiti today.
I prayed with all my heart for haiti today.
I have so, so much.
I am blessed:)
I have a broken washing machine, furnace, dishwasher, and garbage disposal.
I am waiting for UP&L claims to fix them.
(they broke them!)
I found out that instead of 140 volts, I am getting 114 volts in my house!
DANG IT!!!!
I guess that will fry everything in your house.
DANG IT!!!
I never knew that doing laundry at a laundromat could be so fun!
(the kids love it, and I LOVE having 11 loads finished and folded in 2 hours:)
I have a dog that barks a lot.
I love my Rosarita.
I have a husband who works too hard.
I love him with all my soul.
I have 3 special babies that make a lot of messes.
I am so glad they are able to.
I love them with all my heart.
I love this little monkey, that kicks my ribs all day.
I can wait to see him/her!

I really LOVE my life...Even when it is really hard.
I probably don't know the real definition of difficult:)
I know I don't :)
