We sent out some Valentines to some of our family this year. This is what they looked like.
If you haven't gotten your's yet, talk to Grandma Gayle. She has quite a few to pass along.
So. Was your (Heart) day fun? Mine was:)
My husband and I have an addiction.
The addiction goes by: Sanctuary Day Spa.
Ahhh! Just the name is relaxing. It all started with J's bday in January. I treated him to an "ultimate getaway" package to bring in year 31 of his life....... with some serious rejuvenation. (did I accompany him, you ask? nope, it wasn't my bday:) He enjoyed a full 6 hours of spa treatments. ...and he LOVED it!
So, he felt bad that I didn't get to enjoy the spa with him, and treated us to a VALENTINE's couple's massage. Oh, it was WONDERFUL. I highly recommend it to anyone who has even thought of trying it. It was worth every cent!
Isn't he the best? Let's not mention the pampering he gave me the day before...he sent me to my favorite nail salon for a manicure and pedicure...arranged babysitting and everything! I just had to show up:) (I got a card that was signed by the kid's, saying it was time to get prettied up for a hot date with Daddy.)
So, I had to brag about ol' Judd for a bit. He really knows how to treat his woman! (he-he-he)
My gift to the kid's and Judd, was fun, but not quite as extravagent. I bought some old fashioned sundae glasses (straight outta the 50's) and made over-the-top Valentine's Sweetheart Sundaes. You should've seen their eyes buggin' outta their heads when they saw all that ice cream! ( I can't take credit for this idea... I saw on Janet's blog, that her kid's get Sundaes, on Sunday, and it sparked the idea for our sundaes... So, thanks Janet!)
Happy (heart) day to all of you! What did you guys do, to remember the LOVE?
